Name: Jonathan Tyler Walker
Nickname: Jon
Race: Native American
Age: 22
Hair: Black
Eyes: Brown
Skin tone: Light Brown
Build: Small frame, but of average proportions
Physical Description: Jon's most noteable feature is his long/shaggy hair and although thin is stronger than he looks. He's 5'6 (5'8 with boots on) and around 145 lbs. but certainly doesn't look like it.
Special Features: A flat nose and scars of various shapes/sizes all over his body
Usual Clothes: Jeans, t-shirts, and a leather trenchcoat... mostly black ensembles
Jewelry: A red glass doughnut pendant (with a dragon wrapped around it) on a thin silver chain
Personality: Very well mannered (especially towards women), yet always keeping to himself. Jon is strictly a loner by choice... never a follower or a team player, and always his own man. There was a time when he would be considered humorous and enjoyed laughing himself but not anymore.
Now, Jon is much more reserved and quiet. He rarely smiles and only speaks when spoken to. Few things in life make him happy and he feels that only when he gets what he truly wants will he be so again.
First Impression of Character: Dark, withdrawn, but caring
Later Impression of Character: Determined, heroic (a true champion)... yet with some lingering emotional hang-ups
Habits/Quirks: Jon, when confronted with someone he doesn't know very well, will confine himself to uttering short replies to anything they might say. The more comfortable he is, the greater the chance of him "opening up" via a heavily sarcasm-laden tone. He does NOT however share his feelings.
Likes: Computers, weekly television dramas, hockey, Italian food
Dislikes: Anybody that would willfully do something that might endanger an innocent person's life
Strengths: If Jon can somehow manage to keep his attention steady during one specific moment, not only can he remain awake for several days before requiring sleep but it's also more possible to fully utilize certain powers.
Weaknesses: Both his eyes and ears are extremely sensitive (have been since birth, prior to acquiring his unique talents) so bright lights/loud sounds can really do a lot to damage his focus.
Special Abilities: Jon possesses limited telepathy which comes to him in the form of "flashes"... mental images of what other people are picturing in their minds. He can also tell how people are feeling by watching their body language, and then through that peer into their souls.
Family: Father (53), Mother (50), Brother (35), 1st Sister (34), 2nd Sister (29), and 3rd Sister (16) [NOTE: All ages are estimated guesses, as Jon's family is missing and presumed dead)
History: Originally from Sunnydale, Jon (along with his parents and two sisters) moved to Los Angeles in 1990. He never wanted to leave his hometown in the first place but had no choice in the matter. Jon was essentially forced to grow up early on in life and spent most of his childhood being the subject of ridicule on the part of other kids his age. Happiness was rarely an ongoing thing for him as he was often prone to bouts of depression and rage-fueled outbursts.
Eventually realizing how troubled their son was, Jon's parents pulled him out of high school in the middle of his senior year and moved him out into the country. It was there that they hoped he would find a sense of peace and tranquility he never knew while living in town. Such was not the case, however, as a tragic accident forever changed their son's life.
Late at night one evening, Jon had been running an errand while driving his father's truck. In being anxious to get back home he started to go too fast and eventually ran off the road... causing the 70's Ford pick-up to collide with a telephone pole.
Emergency crews arrived on the scene not too long after the crash but were unable to retrieve Jon until an hour later. By that time he was declared brain dead and then later placed in a top-of-the-line medical facility.
Days turned into weeks, weeks turned into months, months turned into years, and roughly four of those went by before Jon at last came out of his coma. He did so to find that his entire family moved back to Sunnydale (much to his surprise) and went back there in an attempt to patch things up with them.
What greeted him was not the sight of a familiar town but rather a crater that it had obviously fallen into. At that particular moment Jon knew that there was nothing left for him... no family, no friends, no loved ones, no material possessions... he was lost with nowhere to turn and without a reason to go on living. It was after several moments of silence that he came to a decision.
He would return to Los Angeles with three goals in mind... finding a life for himself, possibly reuniting with his family, and hunting down the person or persons responsible for Sunnydale's destruction.

Upon his return to Los Angeles and his second (now abandoned) home, Jon uncovered a duffel bag containing $60,000 which he had saved up between his 12th and 18th birthdays.
He used what was required to attend college as well as replace his lost belongings, and in the process of all this ran into an old friend (Sam) on campus who extended a roommate invitation.
Jon agreed... soon after supplying the funds to buy the off-campus house.
